Our colt starting program is centered around creating willing, confident horses with a strong foundation for performance careers. We prioritize feel, softness, responsiveness, and building a horse that can think through pressure while staying relaxed and connected to the rider.
With a 60-day minimum, each colt is given the time necessary to develop correctly both mentally and physically. Training includes groundwork, first rides, transitions, responsiveness to cues, exposure work, and foundational skills that carry into any performance discipline.
Our tune-up program is designed for horses that need a refresher, consistency, or help working through specific issues. Whether a horse has had time off, needs polishing, or could benefit from rebuilding responsiveness and confidence, we tailor each program to the individual horse and rider’s goals.
We focus on improving softness, responsiveness, body control, and overall rideability while reinforcing a solid foundation. From arena work to real-world exposure, our goal is to send home a horse that feels confident, willing, and dependable both in and out of the saddle one ride at a time.
